Alang Ariff Aqil or better known as “Alang” has recently represented Malaysia in the 19th ASEAN University Games in Myanmar last December 2018. The archery game took place at Wunnatheikdi Archery Field where Alang and other 36 young athletes in various other games managed to bring home a gold medal for the country. Soft-Launch Sempena Homecoming FCM 12hb Januari 2019, di Fakulti Multimedia Kreatif, Multimedia Universiti, Cyberjaya, telah berlangsung satu majlis soft-launch buku Komik Scroll yang diselia oleh kartunis Sireh, atau nama sebenar beliau En. Anuar Hassan. Beliau bersama rakan pensyarah, En. Erwin Jabbar telah membawa usul para pelajar dalam Kelab Scroll (www.scroll.club) untuk membukukan koleksi karya komik pelajar dalam kelab tersebut. Digital Media Creative Collaboration (DMCC) is the 1st cross-university project between RMIT University and Multimedia University. Digital Media (RMIT University) and Faculty of Creative Multimedia (Multimedia University) students will form teams to work collaboratively over a time span of two weeks from 26th March to 6th April 2018. Students will investigate and apply design theory and technologyto produce creative digital media outputs in response to the design brief, with the intended outcome of exhibitions at the end of the project at suitable sites in Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne. Two senior lecturers from FCM have been invited by the National Visual Arts Development Board to showcase their artwork at Kuala Lumpur Biennial (KL Biennale) 2017 - a mega-scale international contemporary art programme held at the National Arts Gallery of Malaysia that serves as a benchmark for the nation's arts and culture:   Dr. Lim Kok Yoong is showing his interactive media artwork titled: OpsCassava 4.0 which examines our cultural identity through the symbolic food/ plant - Cassava or Ubi Kayu. The International University Carnival on e-Learning 2017 (IUCEL) was organized in collaboration with the Malaysian e-Learning Council for Public Universities (MEIPTA) and the Ministry of Higher Education. The event, held on 26 – 27 September at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) saw the team from FCM bringing back home the prestigious award. Among 188 exhibits shortlisted under the Invention, Innovation & Design on E-Learning (IIDEL) Competition, the team from FCM won Gold, with their project title: Designing Immersive Learning Environments with AR Technology: The DARE Project.
