About Us

This Research center is vertical in nature and supports FCM degree program especially Media Art. Research focusing on:

  • Generative art, Aesthetic computing and audiovisual sound app immerses
  • Interactive Projection Mapping / Display
  • Media Curation, Exhibition and digital archiving
  • Interactive design with beacon technology
  • Multisensory and ubiquitous Interactive multimedia design

Alignment with Faculty Media Arts and Master of Creative Multimedia programme. Accessing research activities on Interactive media to support the rest of programmes in Faculty of Creative Multimedia and TM R & D Roadmap.

The main goal of this Centre is to establish a platform for faculty researchers to conduct innovative research related to the above mentioned areas. This center focuses on direction related to exploring a wide range of technology and new media to the creative multimedia domain. Interactivity is the main focus of all its related projects. The research direction in general is focusing on interactive media art and design.

Objectives

  • To pursue creative, critical and experimental practices in research that employ the use of new technologies in interactive environments.
  • To engage the usage of technology for interactive media content creation.
  • To explore art and design with new media technologies.
