RESEARCH & INNOVATION COMMITTEE (R&I)

The faculty R&I Committee promotes research excellence, collaboration, and innovation. The committee supports faculty research, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, provides funding opportunities, ensures research ethics and integrity, facilitates knowledge dissemination, encourages innovation and technology transfer, monitors research performance, and improves research infrastructure and resources. The committee wants to progress knowledge, improve society, and make the creative faculty a centre for cutting-edge research and innovation.

POSTGRADUATE COMMITTEE (PGC)

The objective of the Postgraduate Committee (PGC) in the faculty is to improve programme quality, support student development, monitor student progress, develop policies and guidelines, facilitate research and innovation, foster collaboration and networking, ensure compliance and quality assurance, and promote a positive postgraduate experience. The committee promotes excellence, student success, field expertise, research, and innovation.

RESEARCH CENTRE (RC)

The faculty’s Research Centres (RC) support innovative research in creative domains. These centres foster innovation, knowledge, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Research centres aim to conduct high-quality research, foster collaboration among researchers, support faculty and student involvement in research projects, produce impactful research results, secure external funding and partnerships, and boost the Creative Faculty’s creative research reputation. Research centres advance the field, address social challenges, and provide academics and industry stakeholders with resources and expertise.

COMMERCIALIZATION COMMITTEE (CC)

The faculty’s Commercialization Committee (CC) aims to make it easier for creative concepts and research findings to be turned into marketable goods, services, or intellectual property. By identifying potential commercialization opportunities, assisting faculty and student entrepreneurs in creating business plans and strategies, facilitating technology transfer and licensing agreements, encouraging industry partnerships, securing funding for commercialization initiatives, and fostering the expansion and impact of creative innovations in the marketplace, the committee aims to close the gap between academia and industry. The Commercialization Committee works to promote economic growth, foster entrepreneurship, and increase the societal and financial benefits of the research and creative endeavours of the faculty.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT & COMPETITION COMMITTEE (EDC)

The faculty’s Entrepreneurship Development & Competition
Committee(EDC)
promotes student innovation, entrepreneurship, and company development. The committee helps innovative student entrepreneurs transform their ideas and skills into successful businesses. Promoting entrepreneurial education and mindset among students, facilitating access to funding and mentorship programmes, organising student-focused entrepreneurship events and workshops, fostering industry partnerships and collaborations, and creating an ecosystem that supports student-led creative startups and enterprises are the main goals. The committee also connects the students with university entrepreneurship activities and ensures effective communication and collaboration. The Entrepreneurship and Development Committee encourages and helps student entrepreneurs develop, succeed, and impact the creative sector.

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER PROJECT COMMITTEE (KTPC)

The faculty’s Knowledge Transfer Project Committee (KTPC) helps faculty transfer and apply research-based information and expertise to external organisations and industry partners. The group seeks to find and establish collaborative projects that use the faculty’s intellectual capital to solve real-world problems, innovate, and impact society. Strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, knowledge exchange and technology transfer, implementation of research results in practical settings, innovation and commercialization opportunities, and enhancing the Creative Faculty’s reputation as a key contributor to industry growth and development are key objectives. The KTP Committee’s goals are to bridge academia and industry, foster meaningful collaborations, and increase the faculty’s research influence on society.

EDITORIAL & PUBLISHING COMMITTEE (EPC)

The faculty’s Editorial and Publishing Committee (EPC) ensures high-quality scholarly works and creative outputs. To successfully promote and highlight academic achievements, research, and creative endeavours to a wider audience. The committee supports faculty members and students through the publication process, improving their work. Establishing editorial standards and policies, coordinating peer review, selecting and publishing research articles, books, and creative works, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations, and showcasing the faculty’s intellectual contributions to the academic and creative communities are key goals. The Editorial and Publishing Committee aims to develop knowledge, improve the faculty’s reputation, and enrich the academic conversation and creative landscape in the faculty’s domains.
