E-Theatre (LG Level)

Electronic Theatre is a cinematic hall equipped with audio and video facilities for screening and lecture purposes. The E-Theatre boasts full HD 3D stereoscopy viewing capabilities and is furnished with comfortable tiered seating rivalling cinemas. The theatre is able to accommodate up to 300 students comfortably, and is frequently used for showcases, screenings and lectures.

 

E-Gallery (LG Level)

The faculty’s Gallery is an elegant exhibition space which is home to distinguished artwork and installations by students, alumni and staff. The Gallery is frequently used for event launches and its content is constantly changing due to the various showcases and exhibitions.

Motion Capture Studio (LG Level)

The Motion Capture (MOCAP) Studio is a dedicated facility equipped with infrared cameras for high-precision motion tracking. It is used by animation, visual effects, and virtual reality students as part of their motion capture course, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in capturing and analyzing human movement. The studio supports real-time motion tracking, making it an essential tool for character animation, game development, film production, and immersive VR experiences. With industry-standard technology, the MOCAP Studio provides students with valuable practical skills for their future careers.

ID Labs (1004, 1005 & 1006, G Level)

Graphic, Video & Audio Labs (1st & 2nd Level)

PCs equipped here have the capability to develop high-resolution computer graphic images, thus installed with professional graphic and image editing software tools. The PCs are also linked to the internet and intranet.

Post production video labs also available in the faculty for high-end non-linear editing.

Audio labs are used for creating and editing digital sound and are equipped with Workstations with leading audio software tools.

Astro Lab (2001 & 2002, 1st Level)

This lab consists of high-end machines used to create complex 3D animations and visual effects works utilising industry standard softwares such as Autodesk, NUKE and Adobe.

Diploma Lab (2003, 1st Level)

Diploma Lab, specifically used by diploma’s students and staff for design and core classes. A conducive workplace for students to enhance their creative thinking skills and carry out design projects and assignments.

Sound Recording Studio (2011, 1st Level)

Specialized facility for sound recording, mixing, and audio production of instrumental or vocal musical performances, spoken words, and other sounds.

 

Virtual Reality Lab (3003, 2nd Level)

VR lab, specifically used by Virtual Reality’s students and staff for design and core classes. A conducive workplace for students to carry out their VR design projects and assignments.

Advertising Design Studios (4006 & 4007, 3rd Level)

AD Studious, specifically used by AD’s students and staff for design and core classes. A conducive workplace for students to enhance their creative thinking skills and carry out design projects and assignments.

 

Alpha Studios (4003 & 4004, 3rd Level)

Alpha Studios, specifically used by Alpha / Foundation’s students and staff for design and core classes. A conducive workplace for students to enhance their creative thinking skills and carry out design projects and assignments.

 

Space-Bar (G Level)

Alumni & Industry Networking Centre, also known as Space-Bar. An initiative by FCM in providing the best spot for our alumni to have meetings or discussions on industry matters.
