Bank Negara Malaysia Museum, Gallery and Knowledge Management Centre (MAGKMC) is organising a video contest entitled Si Kijang Doodle Video Contest and we would like to invite MMU students to have fun while learning and expand their creativity by participating in the contest. Attractive prizes are awarded to the top eight entries and the contest runs from 1 March 2015 to 6 April 2015.
By participating in the contest, students will create a doodle video based on the theme ‘Save, Spend, & Share’ for children aged 4 – 9 years. ‘Save, Spend, & Share’ is based on how we make smart choices in terms of spending money (making purchases / paying for services) and why it is important to share the money we have. Further details, including the theme of the contest, criteria and terms & conditions, can be found at their website: www.museum.bnm.gov.my
Recently the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Malaysia welcomed postgraduate students from Inje University, Korea for a student and cultural exchange program. The exchange program which was headed by Mr. Fauzan Mustaffa, saw both Malaysian and Korean postgraduate students going through several workshops, cultural trips and media lectures. The Korean students even had a chance to experience a “Wayang Kulit” show by artist Tintoy Chao. At the end of the exchange program, an exhibition called “The Living Shadow’ Arts Exhibition” was held to showcase 8 printed artworks and 8 motion graphic artworks done by the postgraduate students from FCM and Inje.
