Meet Muhammad Haziq bin Khushairi, a 2015 alumnus of the Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons.) in Media Arts programme. Mr. Haziq began working at Kakiseni as a part-time graphic designer in May 2015. Shortly after, he began working as a storyboard artist at Wau Animation, one of Malaysia’s top animation studios. He was promoted to Lead Storyboard Artist in 2016.

He does freelancing in addition to his full-time job at WAU, and has been involved in storyboarding for numerous advertisements for firms such as Affin Bank, Inneonusa, and Tata Truck (unreleased).

He likes to doodles and watch movies, and he’s a big Star Wars enthusiast who collects toys and miniatures. Drawings, paintings, movies, games, theatre, music, and any other kind of media that conveys emotion or meaning pique his attention.

Meet our Permata Dunia, Nur Farah Ain Mahadon. A 2013 graduate of MMU with a Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Virtual Reality. In the present, Ms. Farah is an UI Designer and also a Mentor at Ubisoft Mainz, a company located in Germany that engineers the biggest games on Ubisoft’s front line. She has been working there for 6 years!

Ms. Farah has led herself along a route where she has succeeded and become an expert in wireframe, visual mockup, and implementation, in addition to her passion in User Interface, User Experience, and accessibility. Her most recent project is Anno 1800, a game for which she designed almost 60% of the user interface and is also responsible for the majority of the game’s features, from the core to all downloadable content.

Meet Muhamed Zulkhairilishamuddin Dzulkepli, graduated with Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Digital Media, class of 2006. He is currently working as Assistant Vice President, Quality Assurance Lead at Astro Malaysia Holding Berhad. Mr. Sham’s experience and expertises stretched wide from developing successful platform / applications specialized for a New TV Technology, to having strong understanding of operations for complex DTV infrastructure (VoD, HbbTV, OTT, MPEG / DVB) and experienced in managing, developing & deploying a New TV Technology such as apps for DIGITAL TV, Smart TV platform, Connected TV & Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV).

His expertise has also reached out across Asia as he is also involved in multinational & multiplatform OTT products such as TRIBE, (involving Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand), Astro GO, Njoi Now, and Astro Go for SmartTV. End to end responsibility for managing Astro Local & International OTT operation, support & projects. Besides working with Astro, he’s also managing his family-owned businesses, known as JTC Bike Centre and Joey Mini Garage.

Another successful alumni of Multimedia University, met Hasnul Fadhli bin Mohd Shafie. Graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Virtual Reality, he is a senior 3D artist working with Metamosaic, a company known globally for their expertise in CG media and 3D architectural visualization in the design and property industry. Mr. Hasnul’ interest and expertise in architecture visualization leads to the establishment of his very own company, MELTED, which specialised in exterior and interior CGI artworks.

Meet Mohamad Amirudin bin Ahmad Khalid or better known as Emmet Khalid, a recent graduate of Multimedia University class of 2020 with a Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Advertising Design. Emmet’s expertise and interests revolve around photo manipulation and virtual tuner. As of today, he is a designer at Zen Digital Marketing Solution, a full-service digital marketing and social media agency in Bandar Sri Damansara. Aside from that, he is also a freelancer and works as a graphic designer for his brand named Kingsmet. His artworks have been featured in many portals such as Careta.my, Tourism Perak, Brendan Gan, as well as other local football pages. Meet Ts. Husna Adlyna Sidek, a Bachelor of Multimedia (hons) Film and Animation / Animation and VFX graduate class of 2014. Started from interning at Chain-fx Studios in 2013, her journey continued with a long, remarkable history of working in the media production industry. In 2015, she became a Compositor at Glue Studios along with becoming a Malaysian CCIG Certified Compositing Practitioner. Fast forward to 2018, Mdm. Husna held the position of Creative Director for the ILuvQuran project in Higherdown Intertrade Sdn. Bhd.

At the moment, Mdm. Husna is an academician at Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA), tutoring students in 3D Animation and Visual Effects. In addition to that, she also holds the title for ADOBE Certified Professional in Video Design from 2020 to present.

Mdm. Husna’s interests and mastery comprises of Animation and VFX, 2D and 3D animation, 3D Modeling, Compositing and Visual Communication. Meet Osama Alhamdi, our alumni who graduated with Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Advertising Design class of 2018. Mr. Osama is an experienced motion graphics designer with a demonstrated history of working in the creative industry. He is skilled in various Adobe software as well as in Cinema 4D. He was lucky to have a great kick off in his career when he worked as a graphic designer in Influence Branding & Design, an advertising agency in the Jeddah Governorate, Saudi Arabia after his graduation. He then became a motion graphics designer before shifting to his latest designation as an Art Director at Fairousemedia where he works full time. In FCM MMU, we recognize all the exceptional achievements of our past students and will always believe that our graduates are highly employable and empowered to make a positive difference in the world.

Meet Amira binti Kamarudin, our alumni who graduated with Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Advertising Design class of 2016. Since high school, she was always interested in campaigns that involved big ideas and creative thinking. This has eventually led her to study advertising at MMU. It was a lot more challenging than she expected but it was all worth it when she started her employment. In August 2016, Amira joined the digital team at Leo Burnett to experience real advertising work. One of her biggest campaigns then was the launch of myFreeview by Media Prima, a project she worked on before she was moved to manage the Petronas and Maggi accounts. She was at Leo Burnett for about two years and to her, the journey has taught her everything she needed to know about creating campaigns for big brands. In 2018, Amira moved to Entropia and started her career as a Senior Designer, which is also her latest designation. Entropia has given her the vast experience of working with a lot of clients such as Fonterra, KFCD, redBus, and the most recent one, TNB. She enjoys the whole process of it; be it from ideation, brainstorming, researching to executing.

Meet Hilma Namupala, our Bachelor of Multimedia (hons) Advertising Design graduate class of 2018. Hilma is a proud girl’s empowerment advocate. She is presently working as a Community Care Worker in Namibia, where she focuses on empowering young girls (aged 10- 24) in combating HIV infection and steering them towards a future of economic independence. On top of that, she is also in the stages of writing her own book entitled “Advice to 18-Year-Old Me”, a book dedicated for young girls. In the meantime, she shares her thoughts on topics related to girls on her own YouTube channel. Over the years, Hilma has been involved in several other professions such as volunteering as a teacher in a Kids’ Church in the year 2016, as well as worked as a customer service specialist and Head of Operations for Hefani Tourism Group before landing her latest designation at Jhpiego.

Meet Amirul Ammar Bin Remlan, a Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) in Animation & Visual Effects graduate, class of 2020. As of current, Mr. Ammar is a Multimedia Designer at Stream Empire Holdings. His interests and expertise mainly revolve around social media design. Apart from that, he is also busy creating and producing content for his YouTube channel called, “Nasi Lemak MacN’Cheese (NLMNC)”.
